"Paws & Hearts"
...As we update our quarterly newsletter we will also update our Event Page. Whether you are a volunteer or just an animal lover you are always invited to our events. Community support helps to make our program grow.

On Wednesday, April 20th at 6:30 pm the Cinemas, Palme D'or are hosting our Second "Take Your Dog To The Movies!"  fund-raiser.

What a great way for you and your Canine Companion to celebrate Spring .Come into the Cinemas, Palme D'or and treat your dog to the dog-themed movie...

Manny the Movie Guy from KMIR 6 will be on hand to kick off the event and introduce the movie. And Kathy Hart from Bones-n-scones will have her own doggie concession stand set up.  Once again she will have doggie ice cream cones and a host of treats that can be purchased for your pooch.

Admission:  $12.00 per adult, $7.00 per child.  All proceeds benefit "Paws & Hearts."

Please, only one dog per human. Short leashes only, retractable leashes will be turned away, sorry.

Registration at 9:00 am,
Walk kicks off at 10:00 am!

..Once again our yearly dog walk will be the highlight of our volunteer/community events. "We have had seven great dog walks and the last three have been held at the Westin Mission Hills and they have proven to be our very best walks.  The Westin provides us with a great venue:  wonderful staging area for our walkers and vendors to assemble, just the prettiest route to walk with a fabulous view of the golf course and the mountains, and a great area to have the K9 Muttley Crew perform their show."
